Did you miss the virtual workshop, Computational Thinking: Seeing Patterns? Don’t worry, you can watch the recording. This workshop is an opportunity to build confidence and competence in experiential learning and teaching computational thinking.
You will learn strategies that help youth reflect and process experiences with patterns and trends in data and apply computational thinking. You will learn how to use the computational thinking practice, pattern matching, which describes the thinking practice of finding similarities, or patterns, between things. You will get to experience Artificial Intelligence, a hands-on activity from 4-H that teaches about computer science without using computers. The only supplies you will need for the activity are a data sheet, a pen, coin, and dice.
