Did you miss the virtual workshop, Computer Science: It’s Easier Than You Think on December 15, 2021? Don’t worry, you can watch the recording! This workshop was an opportunity for teams to build their confidence and competence in teaching computer science in out-of-school time programs.
You will learn about computer science and why it is important for all young people to experience computer science. Get strategies you can use to successfully teach computer science with or without computers. Watch it with your whole team and use the opportunity to talk about how computer science fits into your program.
The workshop is hands-on. You will need to print the Palindrome handout and have some blank paper, a pen, and six colors of crayons or markers. The workshop includes some time exploring coding with Scratch.
