Animate A Name

This activity is perfect an hour of code event or give the youth a hands-on experience with Scratch.  Youth will build a customized animation and develop gain experience coding as they animate the letters in a word or name.

  1. Use the video to demonstrate the activity and get youth excited about working on their own.
  2. Support youth as they build their customized animation using the tutorial videos.
  3. Give everyone the opportunity to share their project and celebrate their learning.
