Data Clubs’ goal is to introduce middle school youth, in both rural and urban out-of-school settings, to the power of data by giving them simple tools for visualizing and analyzing data on topics they care about.
This is an AISL funded project by TERC that examines youth dispositions towards data. Survey results indicate that most participants began and ended their Data Clubs experience with a fairly high degree of curiosity, persistence, and confidence.
