Training Situation: Meeting (small group)
Length: 30 minutes
Objective: Participants will be able to define and list examples of service-learning projects and explain ways to connect youth to the community through service learning projects.
Agenda:
The facilitator works to enable active learning as youth work in small groups and use the strategies of computational thinking to design and describe their own unique monsters.
Learn how to arrange learning spaces for computer science activities and the unique challenges of using technology in OST programming.
Discuss concerns and the “Developing a STEM Project” Video-Based Learning Module in order to give youth control of STEM learning experiences.
