Training Situation: Meeting (small group)
Length: 30 minutes
Objective: Participants will be able to define and list examples of service-learning projects and explain ways to connect youth to the community through service learning projects.
Agenda:
Bring STEM possibilities to life by showing youth the skills they need (and already have) to be successful at STEM learning.
Engage youth in a real engineering activity around circuit design and learn how to discuss what problem solving skills students are modeling.
Management is about supporting learning. Control is about making sure youth are doing what you want. Learn how to manage, not control, the experience.
